The spokesman replies that he finds the information interesting, but "no sources listed and this a UK issue?"

ProtectMyID is a part of Experian, and its address is Irvine, California. http://www.protectmyid.com/terms/

The ProtectMyID mailing address is Allen, Texas. http://www.protectmyid.com/contact/

I called the telephone number on the page above. A recording of man with a North American accent said that the company is "backed by Experian." The woman I spoke to on that call said that she is in the United States.

As my website states, ProtectMyID (Experian) states, "Creditors, landlords, and even some employers consider a person's credit score before deciding whether they will approve a loan, lease an apartment, or hire an applicant."

On another of its websites, Experian states, "More Employers Check Applicants' Credit Scores." http://blog.creditscoring.com/?p=2735

Transunion states, "A credit score is the result of advanced analytical models that take a 'snapshot' of the consumer's credit report and translate it into a three-digit number representing the amount of risk a consumer brings to a particular transaction, such as financial, insurance or even employment." http://www.creditscoring.com/creditscore/wha...

At one time, Equifax stated, "Lenders, employers, car dealers-they all can know your FICO score, and so can you." http://blog.creditscoring.com/?p=513

The spokesman replied that he would be interested in talking to an employer who claims they use a credit score for employment, and that he would like to see the score they claim to be using. He pointed out that an employment credit report does not contain a credit score.

He continued that many media stories use "credit score" instead of "credit report"; that the terms are used interchangeably.

Have you told your member Transunion about its statement that I told you about? Here it is, again: "A credit score is the result of advanced analytical models that take a 'snapshot' of the consumer's credit report and translate it into a three-digit number representing the amount of risk a consumer brings to a particular transaction, such as financial, insurance or even employment." http://www.transunion.com/docs/interstitia...

Did you tell your member Experian about its web page that states, "More Employers Check Applicants' Credit Scores"?

What am I missing, here?

Next, I'm sending a social media message to Experian, Hawaii. The company follows me with that account which includes a link to the email address of an account executive.

I have not heard from you for 10 days.

You wrote: "Once again, let's walk through this slowly. Credit scores are not used for employment purposes."

When you said that, were you aware of http://blog.creditscoring.com/?p=513?

(BTW, did you get my invitation to add you to my network on LinkedIn?)
