A page in the internet domain annualcreditreport.com answers the question, "Why don't my free credit reports include credit scores?"

However, car company Nissan states

GETTING YOUR CREDIT SCORE AND A COPY OF YOUR CREDIT REPORT
You can get a free copy of your credit report with your credit score once each year by contacting the following:

Phone: (877) 322-8228

You can also obtain your credit information by contacting one of the three major credit bureaus or the Fair Issac Company."

annualcreditreport.com is the official website for free credit reports and is run jointly by the main three national consumer reporting agencies.

For for further edification and historical documentation on not being able to get free credit scores there, here are statements by the CRAs (who recently named themselves "Nationwide Credit Reporting Agencies (NCRAs)" (see the press release below)).

Transunion: "You will not receive a credit score with your free annual credit reports.

Experian: "Your free annual credit report does not include your credit score."

Equifax: "These reports do not include credit scores."

Recently, the three got together to announce the premananent extension of WEEKLY free credit reports. See the official press release.
